Cancellations & Returns
We regret we cannot cancel or refund orders for PDF downloads or e-books. Orders for hard copy books are executed very quickly so cancellations are not, in general, possible (though we do offer a returns service). You can return goods supplied up to fourteen working days after the day of delivery. To enquire about this, please e-mail or write to us. Our policy is that goods returned will be at your own expense, to the correct returns address advised in their original condition, ideally in the original packaging, and with a copy of the purchase receipt. We recommend you use a registered mail service that includes insurance, and please ensure that you include your contact details. We will make the refund to the card that was used to pay for the original order. We are not able to make cash refunds. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.
Privacy and Security Policy
Fast Future Publishing is committed to safeguarding your privacy while providing high quality service. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and will never share any of your personal information (your address, email, phone number, etc.) with any third party (meaning any person or organisation not connected to our enterprise).
Your information will only be used for the purpose of processing your orders, contacting you about your orders, or if you choose to register for additional services, or our newsletter, we may contact you by email or social media for this purpose. Your payment/credit card details are not stored on our servers and are processed via carefully chosen secure (third party) payment gateway providers.
Other than as part of an order process, we make no effort to identify public users of our site. No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any purpose. Data that we collect is used only for service administration. Cookies are only used to hold information relating to current navigation within the site (known as ‘session cookies’) or to provide extra help to first time visitors and optionally to store your site user password.
As is typical, we log http requests to our server, both on the server itself and using Google Analytics. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 18.29.0.1) address of a user agent requesting a URL. We do not log the specific identity of visitors, unless performing a specific online transaction or an explicit login has taken place, in which case full details are retained. We occasionally analyse the log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site or user agent which prompted the request. Our logging is passive; we do not use technologies such as cookies to maintain any permanent information on users.
Logged information is kept indefinitely as administrative and research material; it is not disclosed outside of this site. Aggregate (completely non-identifying) statistics generated from these logs may be reported as part of research results.
We will fully comply at all times with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. Our privacy policy is regularly reviewed to make sure we continue to serve the privacy interests of our customers. We reserve the right to change and update the privacy policy and these changes will be posted this page. We encourage you to visit this page from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes we may had made. If you have any queries or concerns about the use of your personal information, please contact [email protected]
