Founder & CEO
The FutureScapes project is the brainchild of Rohit Talwar – a global futurist and founder of Fast Future Research. Rohit works with global business to help them understand and create the future, and is an award winning speaker noted for his provocative content. He advises global firms, industries and governments on how to survive, thrive, spot and manage emerging risks and develop innovative growth strategies in the decade ahead. His interests include the evolving role of technology in business and society, emerging markets, the future of education, sustainability and embedding foresight in organisations. Rohit helps clients understand how mega trends, emerging ideas, new business models, and disruptive developments in science and technology could impact individuals, society, business, industries and government. He currently leads studies on transformative drivers of change for the next decade, science and technology developments over the next forty years, impacts of emerging technologies on the legal sector, human enhancement and the Shadow Economy.

Steve is an experienced Strategist, Futures Analyst and Partnership Working Practitioner. As an Independent Consultant he has conducted research and analysis into emerging technologies for a range of client organizations; conducted scenario development and futures analysis for the UK affiliates of a number of global pharmaceutical companies. He has researched and reported on the pharmaceutical industry / NHS partnership working landscape; conducted competitive analysis of partnership working practice of major pharmaceutical companies in the UK; led a collaborative futures project on the aging population in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales for the Future Analysts’ Network. Steve’s previous staff role experience includes leading the strategic planning process for Pfizer Ltd in the UK; development of a collaborative approach to trend and driver analysis; and leading the development of UK healthcare system scenarios to support strategy development.
April is a recent graduate in Foresight from the University of Houston, a futurist, and a foresight researcher at Fast Future Research. Her research has covered a wide range of topics from the futures of food, water, and distribution, to human enhancement and AI. She joined the Fast Future Publishing team in April 2015, and her role on the project covers a wide spectrum of tasks including editing, design work, and website and social media management. April also provides customer support for book enquiries. She's not quite sure what she's doing most of the time but manages anyhow thanks to the patience and understanding of her gracious coworkers.
